Making the Cut Exhibit

CURATOR NOTES:

“Making the Cut” is a celebration of the physical act of cutting away materials to bring forward the image. Whether it is on a woodblock or linoleum block, it is a process of revelation and exploration between tools, inks and paper. That exhilarating moment of peeling back the paper from the block, reveals what has only existed in the artist’s mind.

The show features the works of four artists: Paloma Núñez-Regueiro, Dennis Gordon, Amanda May Moore, and Stefanie Spivak-Birndorf
